It is a television show. That's all, people. It is frightenigly close to real life, which is also what made the X-Files awesome, but still a TV show. 24 is the best show on television, and if these things printed about Clinton dilly-dallying during the golf tournament are true - wow.

I'm beginning to wonder if there isn't a hidden statement about government hiring policy in this story. The Unit has been directed by some ball-buster women; meanwhile the male commandos keep on being surprised by solo bad guys. One slip-up in a day, possibly. But the bad guys keep getting the drop on the commandos.

It's scary how life is imitating art today, what with al Zarqawi having just barely evading capture in Iraq at a check point. At least we got his laptop. Let's just hope that the inevitable capture of Marwan this season is also mirrored in reality.

I loved this episode and I think I'm falling in love with Cloe...lol. I see a kind of parallel between the vainglorious bill clinton and his dropping of the Osama football (as it were) and Logan's hubris-induced fit of vengeance that allows Marwan to escape and to possibly detonate a nuke somewhere on the east coast. Both presidents are weak and did things for personal reasons, and not the security of Americans.
Someone mentioned that the scene with Cloe firing a sub-machine gun (I think that's what it was) and killing the killer was a reach. I disagree; for all we know she could be a charter member of the NRA lol.
I think in the next episode we'll see an even stronger Cloe, and possibly even see her next year out in the field. Jack and Cloe....What a team that would be!

last night's show confirmed again that i don't want hillary clinton in the white house. if it's about character and doing the right thing, she doesn't understand the meaning of the words. neither does her husband who would undoubtedly be talking in one ear the whole time. that's a terrifying picture in my mind.

CHLOE--WHAT A WOMAAAN!!!!

TMH: Edgar will explode when the next terrorist suspect disappears into the infamous "holding room." He'll turn out to be innocent and start walking out the door at which point fat geek Edgar will sit on him, crushing his neck and killing him by asphyxiating him with "geek farts."

Or...not.
