There are so many emotions at play here. So many people have their hearts invested in this undertaking- despite political persuasions. Don't take me the wrong way- I strongly disagree with creating the memorial for anything except for 9/11- it's just not appropriate. But no matter how much we work to complete the project, it will never be absolutely satisfactory to everyone. I wonder- if it continues the way it is going- how long will it take to be completed? Which is worse- having an imperfect memorial or having none at all? Do you think the plans will really be finalized soon? (not being cheeky- I'm truly wondering.)
