Shouldn’t some be digging into his former state? Everyone knows Rudy Guilliane. Why did George Allen Jr had to leave his own state (and go to a Southern State) to have a political career? Could he have done inappropriate things in California? May be you should be talking with his former high school classmates in Palos Verdes Highschool. I doubt he will have any support in California.

One interesting negative is that in the general election he would probably not carry his own state should he come up against Mark Warner, who’s wildly popular here in Virginia. I’m sure most saw it, but about a month ago Newsweek ran a great profile of each, anticipating a head to head match-up.
