My dad raised us kids on money he made designing, updating and maintaining the SSME (Space Shuttle Main Engines for those not familiar) with Rockwell, Rocketdyne Division which is now Boeing and will soon be McDonnell-Douglas or somebody... But I have to say I (and Dad) agree with you 100% about the state of NASA. A sorry state indeed. I’ll have you shut your mouth right now buddy. Rentry is also a concern but is a collary of escape. New ideas are desperately needed and are not likely to progress very rapidly under NASA's space monopoly.
