Read a piece by Thomas Lifson of the American Thinker of a couple years ago, regarding Bush's MBA credentials and his prowess at poker. After the Dems laid down their six high straight, he cleaned up the pot with his full house. They are concerned solely with the 'power' they think they should have as Senators. Nothing more and nothing less. The division of power in the United States Constitution (not the world constitution) means nothing to them, the assume they can restrict the other two branches of the power structure until they are ineffective. I sure don't want the Democratic Senators on display this week in power of anything that has to do with my life, if they are my life, and the life of millions of American citizens will be rather short. Defeat and Retreat is about as nice a discription anyone can make of them, they really fall far below that.
