In a dramatic display of desperation the liberals are actually undermining their own best “liberal” interests. Some would say everyone’s best interests, but I believe not. A few will pay dearly for the libs’ shameless treason, propaganda and il manners. Simply the cost of battle. I think the MAIN culprit is the Democrat Party Leadeship: Teddy Jo Kennedy (who did after all pick the last presidential nominee), Reid, Pelosi, Dean, AND Schumer - who is raising money for the Dem Senate campaign. This leadership is EXPLOITING the rabidness of their extreme left-wing (and allowing a good man like Alito to be slandered)JUST FOR THE MONEY.

Heck: they SLANDER the POTUS and the US ARMED FORCES everyday - for the moeny - so why WOULDN’T they slander a SCOTUS nominee.

Well, they are the LEADERSHIP (so-called) and they should be the ADULTS in the room.

I’ve been a registered Democrat since 1974. I voted Gore 2000 - but Bush 2004. And I am so so so SO SO disguisted with every Democrat in Congress except a few (Lieberman, Harman, Hoyer).

They are self-destructing - and don;t know it. But if this is what the party has become, then GOOD RIDDANCE!

Today was really funny. The democrats on the panel looked like a herd of deer facing a semi doing 90 mph. The mind says jump, but which way. It doesn’t matter, you are highway hamburger either way.

I guess if you gotta lose, then make a splash (doggie pun) while doing it. I couldn’t be a member of the Senate, not enough ????? to make that big a fool of myself in public.

I doubt this war on Alito has a thing to do with Alito, and all to do with the President, whom the liberals hate with a passion. So, they try and destroy one of the best nominees for Supreme Court. Well, it’s not going to work. Thank God for the humiltity of Judge Alito, who has held his head up high and looked those flesh-eating Senators in the eyes, while they try and whittle away at him, not budging him one iota!

Scrapiron has said it so good - we do not bite the hand that ‘feeds’ us - uh - makes lasting decisions!
