Once we discovered the source we had to make the tough decision to block access to the images.. especially as I am sure the user did not intend to a) harm the server and b) actually swallow up the entire network card with the traffic and transfer 30GBs in a few hours. We are constantly being attacked for the sites we host but hey.. sometimes its fun to watch the attack logs scroll as they fail ot deface sites or gain access.
