I see the whole affair as just a trick. Some of the lefty comments above bear this out.

The trick:

The unfortunate victim WAS checked out by WaPo. His shortcommings WERE know to them, that’s why they chose him. He was set up for the fall so they could discredit the right wing blogosphere.

This incident is another transparent view into the the failure of communism and how it really works.

Damn i’m loving this week:
1.Saddam and Osama really were planning attacks on Americans togather.
2.Saddam really was looking for uranium in Africa. Send lying Joe to prison for lying to congress.
3.The Russians really were helping Saddam. Where did the WMD go? Russia?
4.Saddam really did have an ongoing program to develop additional WMD including Nuc’s.
5. Russia, Germany, France and China were all on the take from Saddam. Say goodbye to the joke called the U.N.
6.Terrorists really were in Iraq prior to the attack and there really were terrorist training camps in Iraq.
7.Iraqi and Osama agents really did meet in Sudan.

All of this makes it certain that the only people telling the truth in the United States in 2003 was the President and his staff.
Now we need to know who the traitors are in congress (self evident and enough proof on record to convict a dozen of them) , the CIA and the FBI. They were working against the safety of the American people, and it now appears they were in 2001 which resulted in the death of 3,000 people. There is too much evidence in the public domain to ignore it any longer. Include the joke 9-11 commission in the investigation. All they did was coverup for their and their friends misdeeds/crimes.

This event so much illustrates the difference between the left and right. This guy got caught doing something wrong, so he left in shame. The left never does that — I’ve been following the trials of the Democrat Speaker of the House in NC, Jim Black. He has very clearly and obviosly broken the law — but despite now being investigated by at least 4 different organizations, including the FBI and the State Prosecutor, and the Board of Elections confirming he’s broken the law, he still won’t resign.
