As far as I know, Fred Thompson street got blocked from happening. I’d be ok with them naming a street after him provided that the following conditions are met:

1. They put the street in Bridgeport
2. No of the mayors beloved 100 cameras are anywhere near it
3. The sign is placed at shoulder level, so after a sox game it can be readily spat on.
4. You place it right next to the fire station.
