I will always think of him as a best friend and second father. We had some fascinating conversations and yes he was a con man, but he was like Robin Hood to me, as I said he helped a lot of people. The name of my business was Southwest Agricultural Service and oh yes I was financed by Pacific Finance. And an ex U.S.D.A. employee Lucky me. My motel room was searched and ramsacked the first night I was busted for Federal Road Use Tax. Everone involved was drawing a government check except me. I was there in the early 60’s.
