America played their 3 games *awfully* - you got lucky against Italy, then threw it away, then had some questionable decisions, and threw it away again. The Czechs thrashed you, and Ghana showed how to play against bigger teams. But the American appetite for absurd posturing meant I read a lot about how you were going to cream some of the biggest teams in the world. Didn't quite happen, did it? 1 point from 3 games.... America played their 3 games *awfully* - you got lucky against Italy, then threw it away, then had some questionable decisions, and threw it away again. The Czechs thrashed you, and Ghana showed how to play against bigger teams.

But the American appetite for absurd posturing meant I read a lot about how you were going to cream some of the biggest teams in the world. Didn’t quite happen, did it? 1 point from 3 games….
