		<description>Are the Republicans making a comeback? Hmm. According to the Gallup Poll published yesterday Bush's approval number has slipped back to 39%. This after a full two weeks of his prancing about the country doing his Don Knotts the War President routine.

And then today's Gallup release shows the Dem Congressional lead increasing from 47-45% to 53-41% in a matter of 2 weeks.

Short answer: Nope.

Observation: If I was a GOP candidate I would hope that George W. Bush would shut his trap and soon.
