Even duplicitous aid on the War on Terror is better than the alternative. However we must remember when the end of the day comes Musharraf is a military dictator. Pakistani's are really Mohammedan Indians. The Pakistanis have to know that their multi-cultural cousins - India - is a democracy. The Mohammedan Pakistanis hate America and Israel as much as any Mohammedan does. I strongly suspect continued assasination attempts are in Musharraf's future. When one succeeds, undoubtedly the next leader will not be as willing to help America. America has little choice to attempt to strengthen the hand of Musharraf.
