Hey Thanksgiving turned out ok here, but I did set the alarm clock to get up this morning to get things done.

Note to the big guy…the earthquake was a wake up call, but I was already up. Or at least wait till cocktail hour when we need shaken but not stirred type of action. LOL.

Enjoy your fine meal, Rick. My hubs in finishing a work assignment in Africa this week so he’ll be gone. Our teenage son and I will carry on anyway! Son isn’t big on turkey so he has requested turkey legs like the ren fests. He also doesn’t care for pumpkin pie so he asked for sweet potato.
Such is life.

Don’t have to do the bird this year, just have to take over a greenbean cassorole and a german chocolate cake with a pecan pie thrown in for good measure.

Turkey with rice dressing here, the boss of the house (my wife) makes enough for a week of leftovers, love that rice, celery, sausage etc.

As is my custom, my son and I are in Maui at our vacation home and we are having a luau tomorrow with about 150 guests.

Yes we are also serving turkeys and hams for those that desire that option.

Now matter how you celebrate I wish a happy holiday to all.
