I guess I’m missing something here, why would Rick need to edit those trying to make this a “profound site”?

Seems to me just the opposite would be true, that those who are being shallow and disruptive should be the ones that are edited.

I just wanted to comment on the fact of the amount of comments that dissagree with you on a daily basis. I have personaly seen them being the fact that you are family and I have seen and helped with computer problems that you have had. So don’t let that gentleman Pete get you to step down to his level. You do a great job with your site and trying to edit those who try to make this a profound site. I also know the extreme amount of hours that you put into your research on the topics that you write about. All I can say is if most people would put half the effort in thier jobs as you do into your site maybe they might be able to appreciate the job you do here and maybe even have a bit more pride in the things they do.
I am also a left winger and no matter what you have always made me think and have been a real challenge when we have got into debates on differrent subjects. So once again thanks for the amount of work that you do put into this site and the help that you have been to me and my family over the years.

I have been fixated lately on the passing of President Ford. I voted for the 1st time in 76…I didn’t vote for him (and sometimes I regret that!) but it strikes me that he was one of those people that no matter how much you disagreed with him, you had to like him and respect him (has anybody ever heard of a Ford hater?).

There is definitely a market for some extremely narrow and negative viewpoints within the more mad/rad sects of Liberalianity, and surely this is the type of “analysis” which would appeal to any Ford haters out there.

If this is an idiotic suggestion, feel free to ignore it. I was thinking about all you have written. Have you taken stock of how much of it there is? Is there any possibility of putting together a collection of Rick Moran’s writings? I think that finding a publisher should not be that big a hassle (what do I know) and I believe that a new “kid on the block” would be a welcome change from some of the stuff out there that makes my head hurt.

The beauty of it is that you probably won’t have to add much new stuff, instead just editing and refining the GREAT stuff you’ve already written. Something to think about. Meantime, I would be glad to help in a small way…as a matter of fact, I have been thinking that if I took all the money I have “wasted” on newsprint (including that fish wrapper they call a newspaper around here) and spent it on my favorite blogs instead, I and they would be much better off and I wouldn’t have worry about recycling them or running over them in the driveway. Pretty miserable when you only buy them for the funnies and the want ads anyway! LOL.

Your comments keep getting deleted because you continually violate the policy of not insulting the host. I have tried like hell to clean up the filth and insulting language left by lickspittles like you for the past two months and have largely succeeded. I have banned about 2 dozen commenters for calling me or other commenters names - including you as I recall which makes one wonder why you show up somewhere you’re not wanted.

The fact that there are thousands of comments on this site that disagree with me gives the lie to your puerile and shallow critique. If you can’t comment in a civil manner, go someplace else.

Rick gets plenty of comments. However, he deletes those that do not agree with him or those that point out his shoddy research. Yeah, my contribution is in the mail. It should be there any day now, keep looking for it.
