Rarely though has the MSM given the content of those speeches fair shrift. For example, the "16-words" speech was great, but the left got themselves all in a tizzy over Plame/Wilson instead of taking his warnings to heart. Yes, he could be a better speaker in general and yes he could have made different choices in the execution of the war in Iraq, but he's had a heavy partisan load to bear from the Dems since before his first election was certified. Sadly enough, neither the press nor the Dems will get serious until "24" actually happens; so it's going to get worse before it gets better, of that I have no doubt.
