I have no doubt that their ongoing posturing has, and continues to, cause more death than would have otherwise occurred because their actions/words effectively thwart our (and the Iraqi people's chances for) success in Iraq. It makes me ever so weary and completely unsurprised that no Dems even bothered to even pretend to act responsibly and listen to today's briefing by General P.. No, there'll be none of that, "we lost and must cut and run" is their permanent, shameful, mantra. God help us all. We will have a field day reminding voters of their failure to support the Iraq mission. The surge is going to be very successful, relishing Democrat electoral defeat because of it, is patriotic, because Bush doesn't win, America did. We need to encourage this legislation.
