G-d at work again, Rick.

And praise be to Him for that! I just read the previous posts about the impending doom the other night and I was thinking to myself “no. No. This isn’t right. Please G-d, if there’s a way and it is Your will, avert this disaster.”

We may not always agree on things, Rick, and we have had our scuffles in the past, but that’s beside the point. That’s just opinion and, as a wise man once said, opinions are like a-holes. Everybody’s got one. This, however, was threatening disaster to you and your beloved wife as well as the house and belongings that are part of your life too.

So I prayed hard. Now, I’m not vain enough to think that my feeble pleas were what turned this around, but I do know that it was G-d’s work, and that’s all that matters.

May He continue to bless you and your Zsu Zsu.

I’m very glad to hear that things are going reasonably well at the moment Rick. Hopefully there’ll be enough sun to evaporate enough water so if the rains come on Wednesday the results will be inconsequential.
