The Bears have not won the Super Bowl since they disbanded the Honey Bears (cheerleading squad). Bring back the Honey Bears (or perhaps their daughters).

Had the Bears been better coached they would have won. 5 sand lot plays cost them the game. Stupid! But I am glad as I live in the West.
If your Bears do not stop making bonehed plays they will not make the playoffs. Or maybe the Boltz are much better than I think. Way too early to tell about the Boltz but the Bears have demonstrated their lack of coaching for 2 years. Brian can *not* do it all himself.

Bolts win but not by that much. Bears have the best linebcker in football. Chargers coach had the Raiders in *last place* for 17 weeks *2 years in a row*. With Marty in Sep you would be right; but in Jan you would have been backwards. Marty was great before the payoffs. Turner?@! I hope the Chargers did not make a big mistake. But his record as a head coach for 4 years with 2 teams is bad!
If the Bears do as poorly as you say then the Bears are bad. Rex and the coach are bad but they are not that bad!
Chargers 24 - 21.

As a near life long Bears fan I am disappointed in your lack of faith leaves me wondering about the validity of your other analytic abilities. Da Bear by 31 to 13.

Bears play the Seahawks in Seattle this year. With Hasselbach and Alexander healthy, look out Bears!

That San Diego team is fun to watch. I don't think anyone can beat them but themselves this year.

Rick,
I love the smell of opening day in the morning. All is good, and everyone is in first place. For some this wil be short lived and alot of them after todays performances will already be saying wait tilll next year. I wish you're Bears luck, I thought my Beloved team the Seahawks were going to take it from you last year, whoa is me. I get to see Bears/Chargers today now that all Charger games are telecast here in Palm Springs I'll be rooting for you. I want a rematch.

Enjoy, aj
