Hi,

Just some FYI:

WASHINGTON, Sept. 21 /PRNewswire-USNewswire/ — Friday

Freedom’s Watch President Bradley A. Blakeman released a statement and a copy of the print advertisement it has requested to be run in the Monday edition of the New York Times.

“Freedom’s Watch could not sit back and allow a terrorist to come to
America masquerading as a world leader. We have an obligation to warn the
world of the dangers of a nuclear Iran and to uncover the true intent, that
being, the destruction of the United States and the State of Israel.

Let’s be clear, Iran today kills American soldiers in Iraq and they will not stop
there,” said Bradley A. Blakeman, President of Freedom’s Watch.

The text of the advertisement follows:

Ahmadinejad Is A Terrorist

Columbia University is wrong to give him a platform.

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad threatens our nation and the
freedoms we value. He has supported attacks on our soldiers and our allies.
He should be treated as the terrorist that he is.

Yet, while Columbia gives a terrorist like Ahmadinejad a platform to
speak, they refuse to allow the ROTC on campus.

What has happened to this prestigious university?

People who support killing Americans are welcome. But the military that
defends them is not.

Columbia should be ashamed of its actions.

Freedom’s Watch knows that America and the forces of freedom are right.
We know the threat of terrorism is real. And we know Democracy must
prevail.

The terrorists and their appeasers are wrong.

“And God willing, with the force of God behind it, we shall soon
experience a world without the United States and Zionism.”
— Mahmoud Ahmadinejad
(CNN, 10/27/05)

______

Thank You Freedom's Watch For Taking A Stand For OUR Country And Troops!

Peace!

Axioms:
1) US law forbids terrorists to come to the US.
2) Ahmadinejad is a terrorist, so he is legally forbidden to come to the US.
3) If the INS and border guards do not order him to go back to Iran, they will, by doing so, refuse to enforce US law.
4) If the POTUS does not order the US military to attack Iran before 1/20/2009, he will break his presidential oath.

[...] Ahmajihadi ought to be prevented from going anywhere near American hallowed ground — or American ground, period, as far as I’m concerned, unless it’s in shackles. Here are only a few solid explanations why. Related: wonder if the Rotsee-hating ratbags at Columbia would be nearly as eager to have, say, David Duke come give ‘em a little intellectual stimulation and thought-provoking debate?
You know, there are some times on this blog that I just kind of shake my head in wonderment at how anyone can be so stupid.

Kuni just gave me one of those moments.

Your comment was so idiotic on so many levels I will let others take you on if they wish. Someone might start with the fact that THE FUCKING SUNNI TERRORISTS IN ANBAR ARE NOT GOING TO BE LAYING A WREATH AT GROUND ZERO.

Then we might move on to the fact that most of the tribal fighters who were insurgents did not target civilians but rather American troops - something you'd know if you read something besides ignorant lefty websites.

Finally, someone might ask what kind of "dialog" could be had with a Holocaust denying, 12th century, messianic nutcase who believes the American government was responsible for 9/11?

Let others talk with the terrorist enabling thug. And before you accuse me (ignorantly) of supporting a bombing campaign, you might want to read what I've written about Iran - I have consistently said it is not necessary or desirable to go to war with them.

But neither is enabling this guy's messianic fantasies.

So it’s okay to embrace the ‘terrorists’ we have been fighting for 4 years in Anbar province and use them as political props, yet it’s not okay to try and open dialog with Iran?
