Where has there ever been a community of perfect souls? We won't find them among the white, red, olive, yellow, or black races. Considering that the religious pilgrims were forced by circumstances out of their control to take on trappers and other "outsiders" into their devout community, they did extremely well in maintaining law, order, and peace with the American natives. Except for a few incorrigible cases, this is the authentic record we have today. These humble ones did not hold back giving thanks to God, or showing gratitude to the natives for their survival.
