Of course you do, since Olbermann uses this segment to appeal to the “Bush haters” in particular. He’s got about a year to come up with another shtick. Will the “Bush haters” focus their seething, obsessive anger on another target after he leaves the White House, or will they attempt to become functioning members of society?

Great Posting! All Katie Couric has really done is keep up her “college freshman looks”, study up on recipes, human interest stories where you jerk a tear while nodding your head during an interview and you are “acclaimed”. There is a big difference between Good Morning America and serious news and world events.
Couric has enough money, she should just retire.

You may not agree with what he says but “…ignorance of the personalities and issues she is reporting on makes her unfit to cover an American election…” absolutely does not apply to Keith Olbermann. In fact, he like Dennis Miller, oftens strays way too far into trivia and arcane references for my taste.

So attack Olbermann to your hearts desire, but in this case, this attack is inaccurate.

Many television news people could not survive without relying on the wire services or by getting their ideas out of other newspapers. Katie Couric is hardly unique. None of this surprises me.
