It is a fact that the Emperor is truly naked! And Barack Obama is the emptiest suit in a party full of uninhabited suits!

Bill Clinton was the last of the pre-Internet candidates. It's a different world out there. Gaffes and misspeaking did spread quite so thoroughly as they do now and baseless calumnies (like the one being talked up about McCain at this moment) can be addressed and defused much more quickly. The problem both Obama and Hillary have is that their lies, evasions and exaggerations - not to mention their poor choices of friends and/or mentors - are coming back to bite them big time and seriously. And they so deserve it!

John McCain is not my dream candidate by any stretch of the imagination. BUT I am confident that he will protect and defend the United States of America and that is what matters in this post 9/11 world. While the Dems prefer to forget it ever happened, the grownups in the room both know that it did and intend it never happen again if we can help it.

"... all we will see of [Obama] and read about are the issues he and his supporters wish to highlight.

Which “issues” are those? The adoring crowds. The spine tingling rhetoric. The fainting women. How charismatic he is. ..."

Don't knock it, it worked well for Bill Clinton. Twice.
