American politics is a joke. Obama and McCain are both terrible candidates and our media is just as bad with all the race crap they seem to be enthralled with. Can we please get to some issues?

Jesse Jackson has been the chief “grievance officer” (self-appointed) for many many years - and now he’s losing his job and, more importantly, the vast sums of money that accompany his self-created job! Why this glaring “humbug” and his co-conspirators (principal among them Al Sharpton)have wielded so much influence for such a long time is a mystery to me. Methinks that is the unsung tragedy of the 1968 murder of Rev. Martin Luther King - it left such as Jesse Jackson free to extort and incite! And heaven help any person of color who doesn’t absolutely walk the line propounded by Rev. Jackson and cohorts! Bill Cosby has felt the lash (not that he particularly cares, nor should he) as has such excellent and talented folk as Joseph Phillips.
