Given the massive failures by Aemrican Intellegence on Iraq, its hard to put much faith in any thing Aemrican intellegence might say with regards to Iran. If I were Mr. Obama or a major American decision maker, I would treat every thing from our intellegence services with skeptiscim. Surely the Israelis have good intellegence on Iran. Maybe they will share it with us. Civil war? The USA had one once. If Russia and China wake up, perhaps greater sanctions against Iran could have an impact. Regardless, Iran has only two chances at future calm: One is if a civil war succeeds, and the other is if within 10.5 years Jesus Christ returns. I just hope that the 30 years Islamist nightmare is over for the Persian people at some point. Not very hopeful though, they are entrenched. However, I can understand and sympathize with the frustration of the people. Just imagine the constant harassment of the morality police, the non-existing career opportunities and lack of political freedom. All that with a young educated populace especially in the cities.
