Now you're talkin'. This year I have caught perch up to 14" near Cal harbor. Perch fishing on the lake is outstanding right now. One morning we landed 30 in my boat from 11-14". Them's jumbos! Perch? If there's a restaurant in or near Chicago that serves pike of any kind tell me where that is located. I have never in my life been to a restaurant that serves pike since it is not a commercially caught fish. Are you writing about "Northern Pike" or walleye? Walleye is not a pike and Lake Michigan has given up a few near the Indiana/Michigan line. The Indiana DNR officials claim they are refugees from the St.Joe river. Anyway...congrats on your windfall.
