No need for a retraction. Read the updates again. I expressed skepticism at both the larger numbers and based my analysis mostly on the marchers moving off from Freedom Plaza in the time lapse sequence. I believe there’s a good chance there were more than half a million marchers with many more who were already at the Capitol and tens of thousands more late arrivals.

No other marchers representing another cause were there? I stand by my estimate.

I read a sign in your crowd saying “Otherwise nice individuals forced to protest.” Typical conservative self centered worldview that thinks only they protest because they are compelled by something they feel passionately and desperately about, while all other protesters are monsters without moral compass who hate America.

If you were really protesting the items you posted, you’d have been out there protesting 5 years ago, when Bush busted the budget, started two wars without paying for them, introduced the largest expansion of Medicare since it was started. Then you would have been protesting a year ago, when Bush bailed out Wall Street.
