With excitement at a fever pitch as we approach the 2-hour blockbuster season finale, several major question remain to be answered.
Judging from past experience, some of those loose threads will not be tied up. Questions about some characters who have appeared in past episodes will not be answered such as the fate of Evelyn and her 9 year old daughter. (Did Henderson’s men really kill both of them?) And some plot threads involving Graham and his cohorts (Mr. Big) will also probably fall by the wayside as the writers try their best to have a slam bang finale while trying to set up something for next season.
My expectations therefore are reduced quite a bit. But that doesn’t mean that we aren’t able to speculate what in fact will be the outcome of several loose ends:
1. The ultimate fate of President Logan.
2. Ditto Martha.
3. Add Henderson.
4. The future, if any, for Jack and Audrey.

I would not be a bit surprised if Graham (ER’s Dr. Romano) was being set up to be the main villain for Season 6.
I think that Martha and Aaron (Secret Service guy) will ride off together into the sunset and Charles will end up in rubber room to hide his part in the crisis, living the remainder of his life under heavy sedation or maybe a lobotomy.
Audrey may be killed (?by Henderson?) but she will definitely leave the show.
Jack will kill Henderson and end up with original girlfriend and her adulating son.

Pres Logan will live to be prosecuted for his involvement.
Aaron Pierce will die trying to protect Martha from the scumbag traitor that erased the tape last week.
Henderson will live to return next season. His character is just to good to let die.
Audrey will live and return next year in charge of CTU. If they are smart, the show will pay her what ever she wants to stay.
Jack’s daughter will be kidnapped by Mr Big, the price of her safe return will be Jack killing President Logan to keep him quiet.

I hope not. Which harkens back to the first season when I hadn’t looked into the premise beforehand, I tuned in a few times and kept saying to myself “what’s up with this kidnap stuff every week, week in and week out?”
Of course, now that I “get it” I’d probably have watched all of season one, but it took me until last season to start watching again.
Oh, prediction: Audrey’s very wet and bruised, but alive, Dad, plugs Logan in the forehead, or rather, fires the shot just at the end, and we find out if it found its target next year…

The guy that plays Logan is just to good. He will be carried over to the next season. Not sure about martha. I guess she will try to kill her husband but a agent will take her out. Jack has to cut a deal with Logan because only he can stop the launch of the sub’s wareheads, which would kill millions,,,or something like that.

Jack will kill Henderson: “I’m sorry to have to do this, Christopher. You’ve left me no choice.
Miles will intercept a message from Aaron intended for Martha. He will present it to President Logan. The note, which will contain a rendezvous point for Martha, Aaron and Mike Novik (!), alerts the president to the coup in his midst and he will agonize over how and whether to kill whom, and whether to share his information with Mr. Big. Just after receiving the note, he will see Novik speaking in low tones with the Vice President.
Audrey’s Dad will make his way to the submarine to help Jack, and Audrey will also insist upon making her way to the scene. She may get caught in cross fire, or she may go into the sub w/Jack without a gas mask—and die.
Jack will have a dramatic water scene in which he breaks into the submarine, reseals a hatch just seconds before water would have poured in, and proves once again that he can hold his breath for a heroic length of time.
How are Bierko and Mr. Big connected, though? Are they?

Why is everybody agonizing about whether or not Evelyn and her nine year old daughter were killed? If the writers are true to the terrorist intent, of course they were killed. These are the same persons that have not problem letting loose nerve gas in a shopping mall (filled with non-working mothers and babies in strollers). Why would anybody hold hope for Evelyn. Are these the same persons that still think you can negotiate with terrorists? Wake up, dammit!

Henderson’s men showed up at the motel, not Bierko’s terrorists. Are they one and the same? Not in their motivations surely but rather in their methods. I consider it a 99% probablity that the little girl was offed by Henderson’s mercs. If it had been Bierko’s men, I would have put it at a dead certainty.

My predicts: Dr. Joyce will run away with Bob, they spend a great weekend at a retreat for cheating spouses. Candee, always the air head, will give rm#3 the wrong meds and once again off an aging patron of the hospital. It’s had keeping good help.
Darbie and Tex will break up before the first Kotex commercial leaving us all in tears.

Kim’s boyfriend/psychologist makes contact with Henderson and our fears of their connivance are confirmed.

Either Mr. Big or Henderson takes out Logan. I don’t think the writers will send a good guy to jail over that miserable excuse for a human being.
Playing Jack Ruby, Jack takes out Henderson. Or if he isn’t Logan’s killer, Jack takes him out anyway out of sheer vengeance and exhaustion. Or glee, for all I know.
I don’t think Mr. Big’s motive is oil. I don’t know what it is, but I think that’s just what he told Logan, whipping him into a patriotic frenzy. Either we will (i hope) find out what said motive is, or we won’t. If the latter, it’s carried over to next year.
Honest Abe thinks Miles will attack Martha?? Naah, he’s a weasel who hides in the shadows. In any case, Aaron does not die. I won’t allow it
I also don’t think that Aaron has a thing for Martha (she might for him). I think he’s just protective. Besides, he would consider that to be contradictory to his duty. And Aaron always does his duty (I loved that scene with him, Jack and Cummings when Logan asked what he was doing and he said ‘’protecting you.’‘)

In this last 24 Jack will ride a nuke fired out of the sub that is on a certain course for Las Vegas. Jack calls Chloe on his cell phone to have her reprogram the missle. But his phone goes dead. So he drills into the missile and changes its course into what he thinks is the grand canyon, but it’s going for Hoover Dam.
Jack pulls out a parachute from his bag and jumps.
We find out that Logan is a democrat and the press doesn’t say much about what happened in the last 23 hours. It is all blamed on the republicans as a trick to hurt President Logan.

This excellent fifth season of 24 has nevertheless featured many re-hashed and repeated plot twists from the previous four. And I believe the show will end with a plot twist taken from the end of season 2 where Palmer was hit by hot assassin Mandy and viewers were left wondering if he would die or live on. I predict the writers will do the same with the end of this season, only this time with Jack. We know that Baldy and Logan have already set in motion their action against Jack. In the final scene, as Jack is reunited with Audrey at CTU and they talk about beginning a new life together, Jack is hit by a single shot and crumples to the floor. Pandemonium ensues, the very familiar CTU alarm reverberates, Audrey screams as she cradles Jack in her arms and CTU medical frantically tries to save him….fade to black and the Silent Clock appears which has always meant certain death, but does it this time?

Jack gets himself in a tight spot against Bierko and the Russian sub, when suddenly Jack hear’s Tony’s far-off voice saying “use the Force, Jack..” and Jack lands an impossible shot on the sub’s reactor and blows it up. Then he finds both President Weasel and Robocop, ties them together, rips the Earth open, and throws both of them into the depths of hell. Then Jack, just out of spite, shoots Kim’s new boyfriend. Then Jack rides off with Audrey, and Kim rides off with the hot Russian hooker from a few hours ago…
Hey, it could happen.

President Jellyfish will once again try to do in Aaron (Secret Service guy), prompting Martha to shoot Jellyfish dead.
Meanwhile, Jack simultaneously faced with Bierko and RoboCop will shoot both of them dead with a single, his last, bullet, making the Warren Commission “single bullet” theory look simply obvious.
Miles will team up with Mr. (Big) Microphone and perform hasty sex acts.

actually she raises her fist and vows to never be hungry again, nor her kin.
Someone needs to shoot Audrey which then leaves her with a FESTERING PUTRID wound. Only Jack’s love will save her. He doesn’t, she passess and KIm returns home to cook for daddy.
Show closes with MY True Love playing in the background. Far off in the distants someone says, PUSH THE BUTTON, MAX !

With a few minutes to go till the season ending episodes, a couple of things.
Mr. Big and company will survive and continue next season where we will find more layers to the onion.
Henderson’s comment “They can touch you” will mean after Logan is brought down and Mr.Bigs plans fail he will order Kim’s death. This will set Jack up for next season where he will be like the James Caan character at the end of the movie “Theif”, Taking down the organization that took from him everything he loved.
