There’s going to be blood on the floor of the Tonight Show studio on Wednesday night when Conservative Lout Ann Coulter squares off with liberal loon George Carlin on the Jay Leno show:
Controversialist Ann Coulter and controversialist George Carlin NBC’s will appear on “The Tonight Show with Jay Leno this Wednesday.(HT: Drudge)Carlin will discuss his role in “Cars,” from Walt Disney Pictures and Pixar Animation Studios. The movie is currently the #1 at the box office. Coulter will talk about her latest controversial book “Godless: The Church of Liberalism,” currently the #1 book at AMAZON.
I’m surprised that Carlin agreed to be on with Coulter given his penchant for losing his wit when criticized harshly and simply getting nasty. His rants at times border on the mean anyway and if Coulter is smart, she will do some research on some of the comic’s more outrageously mean-spirited rants against Christians, conservatives, Ronald Reagan, and the military.
Carlin won’t have to look far to find material to skewer Coulter with. In contrast however, Coulter never seems to lose her cool in this kind of showdown although her counter-rants are just as mean-spirited and personal.
If I were Leno, I’d wear a plastic poncho during the segment because the bile from those two will be shooting all over the studio.
They were made for each other, those two. Maybe they’ll fall in love like Matlin-Carville and they’ll make a movie about it…
NOT!
11:04 am
Rick: Don’t assume that Coulter and Carlin will share the couch, as some guests depart as soon as their time with Leno is over. Even if whomever goes on first sticks around for the second, don’t assume that they will participate in the conversation, as most of the time, there are not a lot of three way discussions going on. And, for what it is worth, Carlin is there to plug a movie, not to engage in partisan bickering. The last thing Disney/Pixar wants to do is have their stars/movie dragged into a political fight.
I still plan on watching.
12:58 pm
Well. It ought to be… interesting… one way or another.
Coulter vs. Carlin. sigh I haven’t watched Carlin in years: he’s just gotten too crude. Coulter sometimes makes me a bit uncomfortable, but I admit I have an affection for her for two reasons: 1) she is an adored and loving cousin to some very dear friends of my parents, and 2) I admit to being sinful enough to occasionally enjoy the hard-core smack-down she can deliver to looney libs.
I know, Rick. I know. Not very Christian of me (and I’m not happy about her 9/11 wives comment), but I admit to still being human. In my defense, I can only offer the fact that I rarely read her columns and statements.
Anyway, like I said – it ought to be “interesting,” at the very least, LOL

Just a side note, isn’t it ironic that a person who despises consumerism is on Leno to promote a movie?
3:36 pm
Heh. I’m just going to watch to see the Scottish singer/songwriter KT Tunstall perform :o)
3:38 pm
Difference- Coulter is a pundint who speaks for the republican base, and has been defended by spokespeople of the Bush administration. Carlin is a comedian, and does not speak for the Democratic party.
What does it say about a party who has a spokesperson who is as off base, mean spirited, and nuts as some far out lefty comedian? Says the party is off base, mean spirited, and nuts!
Enjoy your spokesperson Coulter tonight. I am sure that Matalin, Hannity, etc etc etc will defending her all the way.
3:38 pm
From what I have seen from interviews on Ann herself recently, she was NOT attacking 9-11 widows at all, but using four who actively supported liberal causes/politicians, and keep up a steady, nasty worded barage on the President as EXAMPLES of the liberals trotting out people they feel should be immune to criticism (war widows, Gold Star mothers, etc) and USE them to deliver their message….Bush is bad, the war is bad, the GOP is bad, yadda yadda yadda. I’m sure that if he were living in our time they would trot out Benedict Arnold as a war hero (which of course he WAS, before he became a traitor)!
I think it’s more of a case of “if you can’t refute the facts, shoot the messenger.” Coulter doesn’t help herself by dipping her words in vinegar instead of honey, but a lot of what she says explains how Liberals are what they are.
Of course, I haven’t read the book myself, so I don’t know how far out of or in context it all is. But then, like most people, who needs to be familiar with the facts in order to have an opinion on them?
5:32 pm
Coulter is GREAT!
Her new book is 100% on the money.
carlin is a fouled mouth, athiest, has been, druggie, dreged up to belittle her.
It wont work.
5:42 pm
They should be on the Jerry Springer show (sorry, couldn’t resist…)
6:40 pm
Oh, This will be Good!
Rick Moran of Rightwing Nuthouse—- who recently called Ann Coulter a “con
7:46 pm
As you can see from the posts Rick, Coulter truly is, your base. Go to a liberal blog (Crooks and Lairs, Americablog, Daily KOS) and flog Carlin and they will say, “he is a friggin comedian for christ sake, he does not speak for us.” Here, it seems, your fellow repubs are all about slandering widows and orphans. Why am I not surprised? I am not surprised because the party has lost touch. Going to be a long hard road back to the days of Reagan…if you ever get there again.

This is some of what you are going to be facing in November. Allen V Webb…you may win, but it not going to be a walk in the park… Webb is outstanding.
11:18 pm
PC,
you are right about the difference between Ann Coulter and George Carlin. you must realize that Coulter is a political pundit in the same vein as Michael Moore, a hate monger that thrives off adversity. How about you go to Daily Kos, Moveon, and Thruthout and attack Michael Moore and the pile of dribble known as “The Inconvenient Truth”. There you will see the similarities between the left and the right.
11:29 pm
Bruce you are right. She stated that it was impossible to debate with liberals when they would bring out orphans and widows to the political front line. She claimed that any attempt at dialogue would appear cruel. Victims political sides of the tragedy that have been exploited. At least that is how I see it.

A ridiculous assertation. Both sides use people effected by this tragedy to bring a human element to it. Ann herself invoked the name of her friend Olsen. 9/11 was personal. That does not mean we attack the dead and their relatives. I cannot believe anyone would defend her comments. Yet the right is. Paid political consultants are defending what she said. It’s nuts.
6:32 am
PC, what ideas do your idols on the left ever put forth besides criticizing the GOP and Bush or giving up on the war on terror? Oh, that’s right, it is a law enforcement problem.
Will Shrillary be bringing back the loot she stole from WH if she is elected Prez? Will there still be no controlling legal authorities to Clinton misdeeds?
In any case I would not worry too much about GOP prospects what with Reid, Dean and Pelosi running off at the mouth. I’m sure Kos can maintain his perfect record of never having his election picks ever win. Ok, maybe the country would be far better off with algore or John F’n sKerry in WH? hahaha

John Hawkins Interviews Ann Coulter
Make sure to check out John Hawkins’ excellent interview with the controversial Ann Coulter. Good stuff! Are we jealous? Absolutely!
Speaking of Ann Coulter, Rick Moran says there will be blood on the floor of the Tonight Show studio on Wedn…
12:20 pm
PC,
You never attacked my comparison between Coulter and the Left’s love child Michael Moore. And yes in 2004 the Democrats were openly in love with Moore.
“A ridiculous assertation. Both sides use people effected by this tragedy to bring a human element to it. Ann herself invoked the name of her friend Olsen. 9/11 was personal. Ann actually did not attack the dead, she attacked the widows who are still alive. In fact, she didn’t attack all of the widows she just attacked a small group. She claimed they are using their position to curry favor for the Democrats. I am not condoning it, but that is why she is doing that. Both parties do use use victims on both sides of the political equation to put a human face on a tragedy or incident. However, they also tend to milk something for all it is worth. Does that make them wrong? I am not certain, because that is simply the nature of the political machine.
2:00 pm
PC,
I’ll take Coulter, Laura Ingraham, etc.
You can have Ms Albright and that vile female thing that reports at the White House.
Face it, we’ve got bright, lawyer, tough chicks. You’ve got journalists and failures who are as ugly on the inside as they are on the outside.
4:39 pm
Da Coyote should call himself Da Stupid. You want to have a beauty contest between liberal and conservative women? And she-man Coulter and Ingraham are the best you got? What a loser!! What do Scarlett Johansen, Angelina Jolie, Gweneth Paltrow, Julia Roberts, Jennifer Aniston, Susan Sarandon all have in common? They’re Domocrats! Let’s face it—-Democratic women are drop dead gorgeous. Rethuglican she-males are coyote ugly.
3:09 am
Uh Kathy,
Those people are actresses. They probably don’t know a single thing about history or issues. They just vote Democrat because that is the sexy thing to do in Hollywood. You know like Kabbalah and Scientology. While you are at it you may as well reference Cameron Diaz and Jennifer Connelly who idolize murderous Che’. As for those in politics that are fugly, hmm the Kerry and Gore girls make me realize why Al Gore is chasing after Manbear Pig. Plus, considering there is a Bush girl that is a model. I think it truly is a stalemate.
9:38 am
plastic poncho..lolz…theyre both so reserved and shy tho arent they?..lol
5:30 pm
Svenghouli
The bush girl is a model? Wow, I guess theres no accounting for taste.
