IRAQIS PREPARING TO GIVE THE FINGER TO DEAN AND THE DEMS
Check Middle East Media Research's translations of al-Jazeera's Sheikh Yousef Al-Qaradhawi on the coming elections, ...occupation does not appear to be intervening in these elections. If these are free and fair elections, we should participate in them, instead of watching from the sidelines.
If Al-Qaradhawi is participating, we're at a tipping point towards Democracy. Hell of a time to give up.

Well, I'm going to send off an FOI request to CIA tomorrow.
I want to know if CIA wrote a contract with Wilson on the Niger trip.
If so, I'd like a copy, the amounts paid, and if there were clauses on what Wilson could say about the trip.
I'd like to know how CIA goes about awarding a contract like this.

I thought I was the only nut appalled at a civil servant steering a gov contract to her spouse and a belief it was high time for staffers to quit talking to the press on "deep background" like they're in some spy novel.
Staffers shouldn't say anything to the press they wouldn't mind seeing in headlines.
