WHY GEITHNER HAS GOT TO GO

I don't give a poop what or how much the MSM says about Geithner. I can read and judge for myself. Rick's reply to M Reynolds, kbk, and sara...all right on the money.

In this great big country with the worlds largest economy, don't tell me this guy is all we've got. Our congresscritters simply are scared and gutless.

"Bu, but he knows Paulson. And,and he knows how to do what Paulson was doing. And,and..."

Yea right, and look where that's gotten us. So what's the conclusion?

Simply this: Geithner's either a cheat, a swindler, an idiot, or he's got his head up his ass.

But he sure is brilliant! Better hire him right now or the country's goin' down the tubes.

Yikes!!

IT'S JUST A LITTLE STAB IN THE BACK

I'm a little confused...sorry. Where are the settlers in Gaza? Didn't Sharon pull all the settlers out leaving behind multi billion dollar greenhouse businesses that the "palestinians" proceeded to demolish? Eddie, could you please explain how the settler issue relates to this conflict.

Also, where are those former Jewish "settlers" from Gaza now? Isn't it true that many are housed in what are essentially refugee camps in Isael?

You got me Chuckey. I only wish we were discussing a less serious topic.

Note to Chuck Tucson: What the heck are you talking about? This post had nothing to do with GW Bush. If you just want to amuse yourself, why don't you do it privately?

Here is an article comparing Hamas to the Nazis. As opposed to Chuckey, it actually is pertinent.

Thanks for the post, Rick. But at some point doesn't all this intellectualizing just get downright tedious? People sitting in their perfectly safe climatized living rooms claptrapping about what someone else can or cannot do to survive. It would be humorous if I could only laugh out my disgust.

Hamas, time and time and time again, states explicitly that their primary reason for existence is to exterminate the Jewish State. They act daily upon these statements. They raise their children from birth to continue their maleficence for generations to come.

Go read Darwin, folks. The time has arrived for Israel to make the existential decision...kill or be killed. They won't have much longer as that decision will too soon be made for them.

And if they wait and that dreaded moment comes, you can bet that all those yelping shits with their signs in front of the Israeli embassies will just turn away in silence.

THE MORAL EQUIVALENCY BRIGADE

If the Israelis weren't so much like the Greenwalds, Yglesias, and Ezra Kleins of this world, this whole issue would have been resolved a long time ago. They would have thrown out all the arabs from within their midst and kept all the land they have conquered in the numerous defensive wars they have been forced to fight. This would have left them with defensible borders, an homogenous population, and countries devoid of a death wish surrounding them.

Therein lies the irony and why I want to puke when I hear the left equivocate with their pansy ass sensitivities.

Devoid of these so-called palestinians agitating from within and a stones throw away there would have been peace in the area 10 years ago.

GLENN GREENWALD IS A PATHOLOGICAL LIAR

Let me see, I am trying to understand how this works. The U.S. stands by and watches as 100 million arabs with trillions in oil wealth finally overcome and exterminate Israel and, of course, all the Jews within (for it's not the land, I hope you realize, it's the Jews these arabs want) then we in the U.S. get all the oil we want. Therefore it's in America's interest to allow that to happen. Am I getting it right?

Well now I understand...makes perfect sense. For just 6 million dead Jews, we get oil. Hell, that was easy.

What's that called, a Realist foreign policy?

How about this for realism: We, as Americans, stand up for those in the world that share our civilization, our arts and sciences, our values and human instincts, our freedom. We do this because we are absolutely confidant that our civilization is superior to the 6th century medevilism (the term incorporates evil for a reason) that is Islam.

And then we go out and DRILL FOR OUR OWN DAMN OIL.

Another one bs:

Israelis, with an infinitesmally tiny percentage of the worlds population, in a country that has only existed since 1947 (Nobel prize started about 1901) have won 5 Nobel Laureate prizes, ranking 16th amongst all countries. Jews, by the way, have won 22% of all Nobel Prizes since its inception. Do you think, perhaps, that any of those Nobel Laureates have done mankind any good? Jeez bs, I hate to ask a tough question. Sorry.

Hey bs, whats another 6 million Jews?...been there, done that already

Hey bs, how about this reason:

If Israel goes down it makes one less ally, one less country for the islamist to take over before they get here. Or perhaps you don't care. I know it's kinda bothersome, maybe you oughta just go crack open another beer.
