INDIANA JONES AND THE CASE OF THE MISSING WMD PAPERS

Good old Bill Tierney. He's the fellow who appeared on Coast to Coast, a few weeks before the war started: "Bill Tierney... was the guest for the first two hours of Friday night's show. He believes that Iraq has nuclear capability ... Tierney claims that he has pinpointed a hidden location in Iraq where there is a uranium enriching processing facility. 'You can't put an underground chamber on the back of a truck,' Tierney said, indicating that if an inspection were made in this suggested area, the Iraqis would not be able to haul off the evidence.

Tierney's methods of ascertaining this location were rather unconventional. 'I would ask God and just get a sense if something was valid or not, and then know if I needed to pursue it,' he said. His assessments through prayer were then confirmed to him by a friend's clairvoyant dream, where he was able to find the location on a map. 'Everything she said lined up. This place meets the criteria,' Tierney said of a power generator plant near the Tigris River that he believes is actually a cover for a secret uranium facility."

Of course even without Tierney, Coast to Coast is a somewhat bizarre radio show, covering "unusual stories in the paranormal and stories that the mainstream media didn't want to touch." Here's one story currently highlighted on their web site: "Ghosts not as scary as usually portrayed; Real ghosts typically appear in normal, natural form."

Tierney returned to Coast to Coast on 3/27/03. That night the guest who followed him shared this helpful information: "an internal vibration like that of a jet engine could be the first clue that you are about to have an out-of-body experience." The night of Tierney's first appearance, Coast to Coast featured its Reincarnation Line: "Candace from Redondo Beach told a strange tale of her possible former life as an American Indian."

For some odd reason, the interviewer in the FrontPage article didn't bother to ask Tierney why this "uranium enriching processing facility" that was "hidden underground" has never been found.

By the way, Tierney also apparently discussed this hidden plant with Hannity. Tierney said "I can drive there with my eyes shut." Apparently he also said "we will be shocked with what we are going to find in Iraq ... [there is] no doubt we will find huge amounts of what Iraq swears it does not have."

I guess now we know where Bush got his information about tubes and yellowcake. Cheney had a clairvoyant dream.

Anyway, someone should call Duelfer right away and tell him about Tierney's "assessments through prayer." And tell him Candace says hi.
