So, just to be clear, you are asserting that the Anthrax attacks were not used to support the case for war against Iraq by administration officials?

Against Saddam? A peripheal issue that the American people simply were not aware of. I have no doubt someone mentioned it at one point or another. Powell didn't mention it in his UN speech did he? Don't think he did.

I can tell you this. I remember ABC's reporting on the issue of the additive but do not recall an effort by the Administration to incorporate it in their justification for attacking Iraq. No doubt you have some "aha" link but if you are going to try and convince anyone that the American people supported going to war against Saddam because of the anthrax attack, that would be wrong.

the nauseating way in which he “outed” Jeff Gannon by publishing nude pictures of the quasi-journalist along with the suggestion that Gannon may have been a gay escort at one time, sickened decent people everywhere.

Say, weren't those nude pictures already "published" by Mr. Guckert/Gannon himself? And wasn't it Mr. Guckert/Gannon who was advertising himself as a "gay escort," which kind of makes the truth of it more than a mere "suggestion?"

Just curious, but regarding your reality quotient. Are you referring to this reality?

The aide said that guys like me were "in what we call the reality-based community," which he defined as people who "believe that solutions emerge from your judicious study of discernible reality." ... "That's not the way the world really works anymore," he continued. "We're an empire now, and when we act, we create our own reality. And while you're studying that reality—judiciously, as you will—we'll act again, creating other new realities, which you can study too, and that's how things will sort out. We're history's actors . . . and you, all of you, will be left to just study what we do."
