REDEFINING THE ALREADY DEFINED

Couldn't this same argument be applied to the Left's hijacking of the meaning of the Constitution? Especially activist judges?

MISSILE TESTS PROVE KIM IS "RONERY" AGAIN

I listened to an interview on the Paul W. Smith show on WWJ out of Detroit this morning with the former Amassador to South Korea (under Bush I.) He claims that it isn't Kim Jong Il who's saber rattling, but the military which has taken over the country. He claimed that everyone who has met Kim says he's an extremely intelligent individual that isn't the madman he's portrayed to be. He also said that the US is handling the situation correctly. I think this guy is still circling the airport.

NOT EVEN CLOSE

It's funny how the NYT can downplay revealing sensitive security information during a time of war... but if they suspect that someone (Rove or Cheney in particular) outs a CIA agent, then all hell breaks loose. Would that be hypocritical? ;~)

Most clear thinking people can see through their anti-American/hate Bush agenda and have had enough. The NYT and the other liberal rags and media arrogantly think they're above the law and don't like being called out on the carpet. The leakers should be hunted down and prosecuted to the fullest. Unfortunately I don't think much can be done to the NYT other than forcing the reporter to reveal his sources, as was done to Ms Miller. Freedom of the press doesn't mean freedom to aid and abet the enemies of the US.

WHY I WILL DRAG MY SORRY ASS TO THE POLLS ON NOVEMBER 6

Rick,

Great post as usual. I agree 100% - even though the Repubs piss me off at times - they still are more conservative (my way of thinking) than the Dumbocrats. Lesser of the two evils I guess. And I'm certainly not going to vote for a party that does nothing but whine and complain with no plan or solution to anything.

FROM HERE ON OUT, THE AMNESTY PROGRAM IS A REPUBLICAN ISSUE

Well President Bush hasn't seen the bottom of his popularity yet. By coming out yesterday with his "liberal" illegal immigrant appeasment stance - he basically put a nail in the coffin of the Republican Party. He has shit on the 33% base that have stood by him through thick and thin and now will lose many of them too. The Democrats weren't going to vote for the Repubs anyway, now he and his little band of faux Republicans will likely lose the House and quite possibly the Senate. It's one thing to ignore your critics on the left, but quite another to ignore your base. I'm an Independent conservative that has always supported Bush - but now I'm not taking anything off the table come November.

EAT YOUR HEART OUT CINDY SHEEHAN

I'm ashamed that we have to find stories like the one above on Internet blogs (not to say blogs are bad, in fact this was an excellent post Rick.) But where is the MSM? Why can't they write or broadcast stories about true American heros and patriots? Instead they would rather cannonize Cindy Sheehan, et. al. and the far left Loonies and undermine the Administration in a time of war. I'm convinced we are not only involved in a War on Terror - we're also involved in a "Cold Civil War" at home too.

DEFEND DISSENT: PUNISH THE LEAKERS

Why is it that when Valarie Plame's name was leaked, even though she wasn't covert and it did nothing to hurt national security, you would have thought the sky was falling by the MSM and the Leftist Moonbats (redundant.) Look what they did to Scooter Libby on their "witch hunt." But when a Democrat working for the CIA leaks national security secrets to the MSM, she's called a whistle blower and a hero by the MSM and Moonbats. Think there's a double standard there?

SHOULD'VE FIRED RUMSFELD - AND THE GENERALS - LONG AGO

I agree Rick, however, what can we expect from the politions we have to choose from. Nowdays the MSM have become so obtrusive, good people don't want to run for office. So we get to vote for a selection that's left. Now I'm not saying there aren't any good people running for office, just very few. The MSM , in my opinion, has too much sway in the political process. Freedom of the press has become - freedom from the press.

THE MYTH OF INCOMPETENCE

Excellent article Rick. I am in total agreement, I just wish I could have put it so articulately.
