WHERE’S JOHN?

Filed under: General — Rick Moran @ 9:26 pm

At tonight’s debate, John Kerry proved to me that he is one of the most remarkable men ever to run for President of the United States.

No matter what else you can say, he’s very well travelled. To wit:

He was in New York City talking with members of the Security Council before the war in Iraq. He says they were willing to go in with us…if only dumbass George would have asked them REAL NICE!

He was in Kyoto during negotiations for the global warming treaty where he discovered that the treaty “has flaws.”

He was at the hospital talking to a “crippled kid”

He was talking with Michael J. Fox about stem cell research…and don’t foget Steve Reeves!

John Kerry has been everywhere, done everything, spoken with everybody…does anyone still believe this guy? He brings to mind the old Woody Guthrie song:

I was born about 10 thousand years ago
There ain’t nothin’ in this world that I don’t know
I saw Peter Paul and Moses
Playing ring around the roses
And I’ll whip the guy that says it isn’t so.

George Bush stood tall, had enormous energy and passion, and, quite simply overpowered Kerry on any number of issues. Don’t believe me? Did you notice the height differential between him and Kerry? I’ll bet not. And the reason is that Bush exuded confidence on the issues and comfort in his own skin. Kerry at times seemed forced and awkward.

We’ll see how MSM spins this…but since it was pretty much a Bush win it will probably be called a draw.

One note…an interesting internal memo from ABC news proves to any reasonable person reading it of a clear bias against George Bush. Here’s the link to Drudge.
