  1. Why don’t you remove the second comma from the lead sentence this time? That way it is less obvious that you just copy/paste the previous one with a new date.

Didn’t I ban you for similar nonsensical crap? I mean, Jesus - I know you’re just a kid but haven’t you got anything better to do with your time than counting fucking commas?

Get a life, youngster. And remember - stay in school.

  3. Well, that’s it for Jindal. We’re laughing. And not “with.”

This is the GOP’s great non-white hope? Ah hah hah hah. He’s still talking. Oh, my God, Bobby? Is he competing for the Tim Kaine stupid response prize?

Jindal/Palin 2012! Where can I send the check?

  4. If libtards like the above buffoon moonbat are so great and believe in free speech and the constitution, pray tell why they can’t get anyone to listen to their cruddy Airhead america or need public tax financing for PBS, NEA and NPR? Or want to force the Fairness doctrine on talk radio, let union goons intimidate workers with the union check card farce, provide billions for voter fraud and intimidation champs ACORN and on and on. One might hope America will wake up, but no dount Obama will work to consolidate power in the mode of a Chavez.

  5. Aoibhneas:

Well, you make some very cogent and well thought-out points.

  6. Michael,

Thank you for your opinion of Jindal.

We were all really wondering what you thought about his response. Because you keep such an open mind about things, and appear highly intellectual.

    I quote from your blog:

    Our Top 10 Obscenities
    by Michael Reynolds

Your preferences may vary. These are ours:

    10) Dick! (Includes Dickhead!)
    9) Cocksucker!
    8) Motherfucker!
    7) Bastard!
    6) Son of a bitch! (Variants: Son of a bitch! and son of a bitch!)
    5) Asshole!
    4) Jesus Christ! (Includes Jesus Fucking Christ! Jesus Tap-dancing Christ! Jesus Titty-fucking
    Christ! and Jesus Christ fajita!)
    3) Shit!
    2) Goddam it!
    1) Fuck! (Includes fucking! as an adjective.)

We’re thinking of adding Banker! and Congressman!

(Note to readers. This is an actual post on Michael Reynolds’ blog).

Yes, clearly you would be a Jindal or Palin voter. Sorry we haven’t reached you yet.

  7. The quote above extends through the end of the obscenities to “Banker! and Congressman!”

Mr. Reynolds writes for a living. A shame.

  8. Michael, your dig at aoibhneas is clever, but do you think any of your posts today are any more mature, or add greater value? What does gloating over a poor performance by Jindal add to the discussion? Seems more appropriate for the daily kos.

    Comment by lionheart — 2/25/2009 @ 11:48 am

  9. Lionheart:

If I had intended to write something profound I would have done so. I was having a laugh. It’s good to laugh. Especially when you find yourself witnessing precisely what you’ve been predicting in your more profound moments. Sorry, but Jindal was funny. The GOP is funny. Stop being ridiculous and I’ll stop laughing.

  10. Jindal wasn’t so bad. It is just a difficult act to follow. Politics aside, Obama’s speech was pretty good, you have to give him that.

  11. We need a 24 review to take our minds off things for a while (grin) Maybe you can merge last week’s with a review of Monday’s episode…

  12. Here is a discussion between Shields and Brooks over Jindal’s response. It reflects some of the disagreements people around here having been having.

    Click on the second video.

Warning! Brooks is pretty harsh on Jindal.
