Immigration reform is on the front burner in Congress and a proposal has been hammered out by a bi-partisan group of Senators that includes a “path to citizenship” for the millions of illegals already in the US.
For the Republicans, it’s a minefield. Support reform and they may peel off a few Hispanic voters while improving their image. But supporting an immigration reform bill will anger their base. And what about the GOP House? Are there enough Republicans pragmatic enough to recognize an opportunity?
To discuss this and other issues surrounding the immigration debate, the hosts will be joined by J.R. Dunn, an editor at American Thinker.
