ATTACK ON PETREAUS A SURE SIGN OF DESPERATION

Lots more " signs" the left cannot win a debate on the merits of their arguments.

A FIRST FOR THE HOUSE

Asked whom they blame most for the current violence in Iraq, far and away the most common answer -- voiced by four in 10 Iraqis -- is either U.S. and coalition forces (31 percent), or George W. Bush personally (nine percent). Al Qaeda and foreign jihadi fighters are cited by 18 percent (far more by Shiites and Kurds than by Sunnis).

There are similarities, e.g. holding al Qaeda and other "freedom fighters" in higher esteem than our own U.S. troops, however this breakdown on the "blame game" might be instructive for the nutroots, whose BDS compels them to seemingly lay everything at Bush's feet.

In contrast with the manufactured outrage coming from the 15% on the fringe left who will never win an election, Iraqis living in a war zone actually have tangible reasons to hate Bush and wallow in pessimism, yet they continue to maintain a comparatively more sane and hopeful perspective.

OSAMA VIDEO MAY BE A FAKE

#21

If there truly are rogue elements operating with the president's knowledge inside the Administration, then Bush should be impeached. If it is true "Bush lied us into an illegal war," the House should have no trouble drafting/passing Articles of Impeachment for the Senate to pass a verdict on. Dennis Kucinich, darling of the Socialist "peace worshipers" on the far left, speaks of a "war based on lies" as if that were a foregone conclusion, yet Speaker-to-be Pelosi takes impeachment off the table months before the November 2006 election, presumably because enough hard evidence doesn't exist to support a sure conviction. Can you offer a rational explanation for this apparent dichotomy between two prominent Democrats, one the Speaker of the House and the other a presidential candidate? If not, maybe you ought be more careful about the false labels you're throwing around in regards to the Administration's legitimacy.

No, WE are not making that comparison, but rather YOU are in order to divert from the point I was making, i.e. the posts/comments in said echo chambers confirm that quite a lot of people are allowing themselves to be played like a fiddle by the movement or mindset they've ascribed to. Feel free to prove me wrong, but your posts reveal an underlying BDS affliction, although it is a mild enough case that you're still able to engage in civil discourse here, and perhaps are even still able to enjoy a pint or two on occasion with a person who has supported Tony Blair.

Doesn’t there come a point where you recognise that you are being played? Doesn’t it get embarassing eventually?

I often have similar thoughts when reading through the posts/comments on echo chambers such as DU, LGF, C&L, Hannity's site, Kos, NewsMax, ThinkProgress, MediaMatters, etc.

OSAMA TO POST ON DAILY KOS

Your lack of reading comprehension is apparently only exceeded by your dearth of common sense. Rick suggested the video might have been faked/doctored, whereas you are apparently 100% convinced this video has been faked and the Bush administration is behind it all. Your quest to find out what really happened is a worthwhile endeavor, however the answers you seek will be found in a good therapist's office, not on some website which caters to conspiracy Kool-Aid drinkers.

MALKIN'S CRITICS: APPALLING INCIVILITY

There are some elements on the left who don the anonymity afforded by the internet like a shroud and burn a virtual cross daily which is intended to intimidate conservatives, Republicans and/or born again Christians. Some are allowing themselves to get so incensed that it's only a matter of time before their uncontrollable rage manifests itself as assault in the real world.

DEFINITION OF POND SCUM

Thanks for supporting my point by attempting to pass off as "gospel truth" the very same manufactured outrage from the echo chamber to which I was referring. Come up for air and clean out your eyes/ears sometime and you'll come to understand that even the most fervent conservative critics such as James Dobson don't espouse hatred toward gays, but rather firmly disagree with their lifestyle and political agenda.

As might be expected in consideration of how their minds have been preconditioned in their internet echo chambers, the lefties here are having a difficult time discerning between hate and disapproval of gays, and are relying on illogical rationalizations to "justify" the deplorable tactics/actions of this Rogers character.
